And my damned crutches are in my damned office on the other side of the house. Let me look around the screen porch for something I can use as a cane, though...no need to panic.

Okay, really I'm not sorry because if I made you laugh just a tiny bit or even smile a little, odds are good that doing so released a few endorphoin molecules which in turn may have helped diminish your pain even if ever so slightly, and that is the best actual pain relief I figured I could provide via computer pixels.
