Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!. It is my first six-cylinder engine vehicle since my 1978 Porsche 911 (6 air-cooled). Since that Porsche, all my vehicles have been 4-bangers (including a really cool 1965 Porsche 356SC Coupe).

Actually, this pick-em-up truck was bought by my new business. I've incorporated Bo Zarts Studios and Galleries and Bo Zarts Design Works. For that, I needed some lift capacity. I bought a new 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab Long-Bed with a tow package to pull my three-year-old cargo trailer with my wares (mainly antiques), and to get my cabinet and decorative finishing crews to the job sites.

BTW: The initial Bo Zarts will be in Greenville, SC, and Cashiers or Highlands, NC. Depending on the economy, I'd like to expand to Grayton Beach, Florida, and Fairhope, Alabama.

1. Good solid truck you bought there! My son has a '94 Toyota 4 runner with
with a 120,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. And congrats on your business venture!

2. No pickup truck haters allowed
My wife objected when I bought my used Silverado HD last year, but now she loves it.

It's already been useful recently when she drove from Crawford to DC this month carting the banners used to dress up the tents on the National Mall. Veterans For Peace sponsored the monthlong Camp Democracy event. She was hailed as a hero! She reported there are no such trucks in the DC area that came close. It was also her first trip to the city, so she was glad to have comfortable, reliable transportation.

Welcome to the truck club, DemoTex!

Phil

3. Bo Zarts?!?!?!?!

Good luck with your business and your new truck. If you are going to be hauling, you need the cylinders.

14. God, I hope!
Beaux Arts, in this country, means a lot more than 1900s +/- architecture. I hope my galleries display enough fine arts and furniture to keep artists interested and involved. Otherwise, what's in a name?

(Musee des beaux-arts de Montreal -- apologies for omitting the accents ... but I'm in a bit of a hurry 'cause I have to go shoo those flying pigs out of the birdbath again)

6. Generic Toyota pic (I'll post another later)

My truck is white, to match the trailer. It is very basic -- nothing at all fancy and none of that writing on the side. I'll probably get an artist to put Bo Zarts Studios and Galleries on the side and on the cargo trailer.

8. I hated when they enlarged the Tacoma. I love the pre-2005.
My Tacoma is the same size as a 2004 (or so) Tundra. Hell, I can't park the SOB! Seriously!
