You fucked up when you traded away Kimo von Cheapshot to the Jets, now you've got no one to dive into Palmer's knee so you can take him out of the game.

3. Cincinnati's doing very well this year
How far do you think they'll go? (Or how far does the alcohol make you think they'll go?) ;)

They have the talent on offense and defense.

5. I no longer recognize the universe we live in
When the Bengals can beat the Steelers there is just something strange in the air.

Disclaimer: I was born in southern Ohio and have have had many a sad year of disappointment at the hands of said Bengals.

6. Between the quarterback's helmet-less motorcycle accident
and his appendix removal, maybe he should just take a couple of weeks off!

8. Do you think the bitterness and rage of blowing last years...
Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 05:55 PM by JVS
playoff game can take you all the way through the season? I remember that after Palmer's knee got broken the Bengals got pissed off and seemed threatening for a few drives but they ran out of gas and lost. We'll see if that doesn't repeat itself over the course of this season.

11. Sorry that I don't recognize the FUCKING HUGHNESS of a 2-0 start
Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 06:01 PM by JVS
In week 3 a large proportion of teams have 2-0 starts. It isn't that impressive.

The bengals still have plenty of time to lose football games

12. It was with our schedule
We had to open the season AT Kansas City, which is one of the toughest places in the NFL to win as a road team. Then we had to play our in state division rival the Browns the next week, and then face the dirth playing Steelers the week after. Next week we have the Patriots coming to Paul Brown Stadium so if we can go 4-0 into the bye week with that schedule we'll be looking REAL good going into the rest of the season.

of accomplishment. You'll lose to NE, Indianapolis, and the Steelers in your upcoming games. You'll probably lose other games too.

14. Yeah but when it's an arch rival like Cleveland all bets are off
Players that on a scale of 1-10 that are 5's or 6's can play like 8's or 9's in those games.

15. I didn't like it a whole heck of a lot.
Cincinnati hates us. That's life. Oh well, what are you going to do?

Sad to say, but Ben is not playing well at all. Maybe all of the surgeries have affected him more than he ever realized.

I wouldn't talk too much smack, though. Cincinnati's offense wasn't real impressive, either.
