Here are some flowers for you. I took this picture about 3 weeks ago. Have a happy Sunday.

32. Oh...I wish I could take floral photos like that!
Are you a professional photographer? What kind of camera do you have...if you don't mind me asking. I love that photo! It's perfect! I always chop off the wrong part, or don't crop it right, or the camera won't focus properly (I blame the camera, of course) :). Here is an example of one of my failed attempts:

37. not a professional at all
and it's an old Sony cybershot digital camera (from 2000)..It's about the size of a traditional camera. I found a picture of it. It does have a macro focus feature which allows you to focus in really well on a close shot. I've resisted getting a new camera because the view screen on this camera is really large and the new cameras have really small screens. The only suggestion I can give you is to take multiple pictures of a given subject so you get the "feel" of where the center of the lens is. After a while, you just know that you've got it right. I love taking pictures, but I learn something new every time I go out there. Have fun with it. :D

38. oooh, more roses
do you raise them?
I think men should ALWAYS get flowers. I have sent them to my husband over the years for his birthday or our anniversary, just because everyone should get flowers once in a while.

I wish I knew what kind of flowers they were. They were on the side of a mountain road that we were on. We stopped so I could take the pictures. I love flower photos and I have to admit, I use many of them in my home for wall art. It's cheaper than buying someone else's art...and I think I do a pretty OK job of it. (shamelessly patting myself on the back here)

27. Boats.
Waverunner, 2 powerboats (fishing, skiing/cruising), 1 hobie cat, 1 cruising sailboat, 2 canoes, and a kayak.

Each one requiring maintenance, cleaning, waxing, repairs, registrations (power only), and time to use. Add in I'm shopping for a nice trawler now.

Then again, maybe you can't have too many boats. :)

39. cats!
2 of my 3 cats have special needs. Since our son was born it's been very difficult to care for them. It's awful, but sometimes i think I'll be relieved when they pass away. One of them was born with severe birth defects and is very difficult to care for, and getting worse. I don't think he's happy anymore. I wonder if it would be best to put him down, but I can't tell I I'm being objective. Our vet just suggests more and more specialized care. I think we should try to find someone to take him who has no kids, no other pets, a deep love for animals, lots of money, and lots of time. The whole thing makes me so sad. I really do love my cats.
