I once was in a car that hit the convergence of two weather systems. One minute we were in a beautiful sunny day and the next we were in the middle of a hail storm with the car spinning around. It was at the top of a mountain pass with a big drop-off.
Thank goodness my boyfriend at the time was an excellent driver and kept us on the road.
I call it my near-death experience.

Just don't go for a drive - that's all I can say.

won't be driving, I'll be listening in awe (as long as the neighbor's pecan tree doesn't get hit and kill me in bed because it toppled)!

I remember the last time this happened after a hot day...we got tornados, one of which came too cloes to my house for comfort (which is why I'm up & dressed, just in case).
