DU football widows!!!!
Does your man abandon you Saturday nights this time of year???

My team lost (31 - 21) last night.

His team won (59 - 0) tonight. :D

Now he is off watching someone else tonight.

I hate winter, but January is looking wonderful to me right now.

5. Does he work for Redskins radio? I listen to that a lot.
I love that. I live in Florida, lived in Silver Spring as a kid, so it is nice to be able to listen to it online here.

8. Oh that is too cool!
I bleed Burgundy and Gold, even though they are kind of sucking this year.

Tell hubby he is spreading joy all the way to Orlando and beyond!

Does he work on Riggo's show, Larry Michael, or the game broadcasts?

He does some good work, wherever he works.

9. He'll be happy to hear that...
since the team blows this year! He does the pre-game, post-game and half time. He used to be Larry's producer.

10. That is awesome!
Wow, he works with Sonny and Sam, and Joe Jacoby!

I have a picture of me as a kid with Mark Mosely and Dave Butz. Those were the glory days.

I bet your hubby enjoys his work, even though they blow this year...LOL.

I hope it is not bad being a football widow. :D

If I ever get married, he would have to be a Redskin fan, and put up with my extreme grumpiness on days they lose.

Between this board, and the Extremeskins board, I keep busy.

2. It's kind of the opposite at Casa Redstone (as you might suspect):
Mrs R is the big football fan (though only pro, not college). I'll sit on the couch with her until I can't take the screaming at the TV anymore and go out to the screen porch.

Still, it's nice to hang out on the couch with her, especially when it's cold and we share a blanket.

12. Of course we'd get along. We do now, don't we? And if we throw
Mrs R into the mix, who knows?

Enjoy the game. And please pass along my highest regards to the Sniffas. I like the both of them.

14. I'm just like Mrs Redstone
I'm the sports fanatic in our house. The friends and family know that if they want to talk football or baseball, they come to me. I try not to make my husband a football or baseball widower. I watch a couple of pro games on Sunday. They consist of the Eagles and any other game/s I may be interested. I can't veg out in front of the TV watching football on both Saturday and Sunday. Since I work a second shift job, the only time I can watch baseball is either Saturday, Sunday or both. I used to have a work schedule where the only time I got to watch football was Thanksgiving day.

7. I've never dated a guy who really cared much for football
Like my whole family, I'm a bit obsessed. We have season tickets, so I see a few homegames a year and try to catch all of the rest on tv.

13. My dad wanted a boy but got me instead
He figured "Meh, I'll just teach HER about all sports!". So I'm perfectly comfortable hanging out and watching it, even if baseball clearly rules all over it. :P

Plus, there's beer and snacky snacks involved. :D

15. There is that re beer and snacks, but....
his team had already won 52 - 0. And he was watching Boston College because he wanted to see a Catholic school win and Notre Dame had lost. But he hates Notre Dame. And he has no connection to BC. Nor do I.

18. Actually they were losing thru most of the game, but the Domers
came back in the 4th quarter. They scored 3 touchdowns in like 5 minutes or something.

I used to watch college football, but I lost interest in it. I love Da Bears though, even when they lose...
