Time for another sunset on the farm
The rain clouds parted long enough for a show. :)

2. Thanks!
It's too windy to have a fire in the pit out back. Perfect night for one though.

5. Do you remember the old shed next to the garage?
The wagon stored inside is out for harvesting so I got to see what the world looked like from between the old, weathered boards.

It's been cloudy and rainy here all day. I like the rain, I just wish the clouds would go away when it's over. x(

14. I came across the photos of Pagosa Springs
I took while trying to decide whether or not to move there. It was so beautiful.

Sigh...

it's full of Freepers, as is the rule with some of the most beautiful parts of the country. Curse you, laws of irony!! x(

16. I know
It would have been a fun gig though. Lelapin would have been miserable. 1500 people in the town and the HS had so little to offer.

19. Oy, that's worse than Farmington (NM, where I grew up).
I got lucky and got to go to the HS with the liberal principal. Pagosa itself kind of sucks, but it's not too far from Durango, which is quite cool. :)

22. Durango has the closest hospital
over an hour drive when there's no snow, right? I can't be that far from a hospital. :(

25. Yeah.
Durango, IIRC, is about 60 miles from Pagosa Springs...so it's almost exactly an hour IF you obey the speed limit. Which no one out there does.

18. Of course!
The Buckeyes win, the rain stops, the clouds part and the sun goes down in a beautiful way.

26. My digital camera is okay
but my hands shake. They've been like that for years and so far, the shaking isn't getting any worse. Shooting at dusk with the flash off usually means the tripod and I was running out of sunset.

27. Yeah, I know what you mean, I sometimes use the self-timer, and then
let my breath out really slowly as it gets close to shooting, seems to steady it up for me, but it might just be my body knowing what I'm trying to do, and behaving.
