What do you hate about your daughter's or son's fiancee or....
...their current boyfriend or girlfriend?

My stepdaughter and her fiancee will be by later today and where should I start?

1. The kid always seems to be on workman's comp.

2. We bought her a fairly new car two years ago and paid her insurance for six months, he tore the car up and now it's a total piece of junk.

3. Gave them a $1000 when they first got an apartment but since then they've been evicted about six times from different places for two years and they're always wanting to move in with us. We let her move back once since she's our daughter but not him so now when they get evicted they go mooch off their slowly declining list of friends.

4. Every time he comes over the kid has to shit every fifteen to twenty minutes from the time he walks in the door.

5. Yadda, yadda, yadda...

2. My oldest daughter's husband is a rabid Bush supporter
In the almost seven years that they've been married, he's held a job for maybe six months, and that's being generous. He's lazy, ignorant, fat, a drunk and he's turned her into as much of a FOX news watching, Bush defending, Rush quoting ignoramus as he is.

She is the one who supports the family (they have two kids) which I'm actually glad about because when/if she finally comes to her senses and gets the hell out of there, she'll need to know she can stand on her own financially. Yet he wastes much of the money that she brings in with toys (they have every gaming system on the face of the planet, stereo components, tv's, etc.) and online classes that he takes for a while until he gets bored and quits. His "reasons" for quitting are always the same ones he uses for quitting jobs - they were "unfair", they treated him badly, he couldn't get to work so they fired him, etc. Always someone else's fault.

Because of this, they've been evicted several times, had a mobile home that she bought repossessed and are now living with his slob of an uncle who is an older version of him. :scared:

Do I win something?

3. "Do I win something?"
It's still early but I'd say you're ahead of me.

The grandkids situation put you ahead. Thank goodness our two haven't had kids yet :hi:

4. Update
Got here about 1:10 pm with food that they brought only for themselves from Burger King, he took a shit about ten minutes later, I swear I'm not making this up. I was wrong in my original post, they have only been evicted four times not six but today they're going out looking for a new place because they just bought two pit bull puppies for $200 and the landlord wants them out by the end of the month.
But not to worry as Mrs. DTW and I were told by junior that he's going to start selling satellite TV service next week and will be making in a quote to me "three times what you make" and that they're going to buy a house after that.

Oh boy :banghead:

10. Well, I think you've got me beat
Simply because my nightmare relationship lives about 1500 miles away from me and they don't look to me for anything. But the pit bulls ring a bell - my pair are also famous for getting pets when they can barely keep a roof over their own heads. :banghead:

He's cranking up a line. How does his weight/complexion/teeth look?

Sounds like a tweaker to me.

Edit: really bad spelling.

6. Trust me....it's shit alright
You don't want to go in there for at least an hour afterwards. They're out with Mrs. DTW right now looking for places that will rent to someone with two pit bulls or get references from past landlords

8. I'm not letting her off the hook that easy
She's playing just as much a role in this soap opera as he is. I told my wife that one day we should change our names and leave the country.
In fairness though, one of my two sons from a previous marriage is almost as bad as Mr. Satellite TV dude but he's been settling down a little and lives out of state, not in the same town.

12. Could still be.
That could still be the problem, or something like it. That problem is symptomatic of some kind of substance I think. Had a friend like that....but I could be wrong. Just keep your eyes open.

11. Good job I don't have children
given the number of things I'd say about my younger sister's fiance...I'm sure if I were a father they would multiply many many times over.
