Poll question: Hockey Question...
First read this article...

Move some NHL teams back to Canada

But the NHL should play to its strengths and move a couple of franchises north of the border. The NHL has nothing to lose and much to gain by going back to its roots.

(snip)

That said, the question becomes: Which teams do you move and where do you move them to?

(snip)
The other NHL franchise that could — and some say should — be pegged for a change of address card is the Florida Panthers.

The Panthers could move to Winnipeg, or possibly Quebec City, former home of the Colorado Avalanche.

With that said, If the panthers are moved, where would you like them to go?

2. While I agree with the sentiment, if we're talking NHL...
They started in 1917 with Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Wanderers, Ottawa Senators, Quebec Bulldogs and Toronto Arenas... The "original" six (after the Depression) are considered to be the New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, and Boston Bruins. It stayed like that for 24 or 25 years. So it would be kind of disengenous to say that the NHL would be going back to its roots. I think it's silly that a city like Milwaukee in a state like Wisconsin only has the AHL Admirals.

I'd love to see the Hartford Whalers again. :hi:
