I adored him on Roseanne, at the time I didn't even know he was Irish and the American accent was fake. They did that thing so well, I think Roseanne mirrored some of this stuff from her own kids...I am so glad for that show; I always feel totally sane when I watch it.

7. yeah,

apparently his character on Angel, Doyle, was Irish and was allowed to 'talk normal' on there. I never watched Angel cause I didn't have cable when it was on and at this point I wouldn't want to see him on there because it would make me really sad.

8. Johnny Galecki was good too......

I loved "Rosanne", and I wish Galecki was more visible these days.

That show was always good, but when Roseanne took it over and said "look, we're going to do this my way" after the first couple of years, I think that it became brilliant.

9. Ditto...

Seasons 3-5 are definitely the highlights.

I don't recall season 6 or much of 7; but season 8 (the final one) stunk. Way OTT and everything turned into a farce. Good series finale though.
