Who remembers Jackyl with a 'Y'??

Jackyl, Jackyl
Dogs playing poker? Lame. Dogs hanging out in the studio, Jackyl-style? Superlame. Lame fact: While researching this piece, I found out Jackyl have a greatest hits record.
YOU: "Greatest hits, really?"
ME: "Yes, really. Now quit asking questions. I'm trying to write."

1. I remember Jackyl.
Really liked that band. Have a couple of CDs. Saw them live. The chainsaw makes an interesting musical instrument.

They seemed to have a sense of humor based soley on their album cover!
A chainsaw eh?

:headbang:

There were alot of bands with Y's in the place of other vowels back then. :)

4. Yup. They had the Lumberjack Song.
It was a bluesy song, with the chainsaw used as an instrument. Sounds weird, but it worked. It was a good song, and it was pretty wild watching the singer 'playing' the chainsaw live.

5. OMG that Riot album!
I remember that. I also remember it being pretty good, but that baby-seal-faced thing gave me NIGHTMARES. Way scarier than Eddie. So I guess it's pretty metal.

they were more glam rock from the nineties. with a song called "lumberjack" and I just happen to love that cheesy band. Like poison and cinderella

on edit, I have their CD :)

and I just found another gem about an hour ago at Zia: Piss Ant - nice!!
