Anybody Hear Howard Stern Today?
Artie Lange confessed to having been addicted to heroin, and you could just tell he was excruciatingly ambivalent about disgorging this revelation.

I was really touched by this program for some reason, and by the reaction of the others on the show as well as by callers. I was just curious if anyone else heard the show and had any opinions either way on it. My dad thinks he can't stand Howard Stern, but I sometimes wish he could hear the moments like what happened today, because there is a real caring aspect of that program that seems to not be perceived by most people who dismiss it as licentious trash.

2. Big Stern fan here.
I did listen for a bit today, but missed that part, dammit.

Heard Crazy Alice go off on Artie.

3. Try to catch the replay
It started about four hours into the show, or they will definitely recap it on the Friday Show, or replay it over the weekend. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but it was about as real as radio can get. It was just very poignant. And it probably helped some folks who might be struggling with addiction but be ashamed to confront it.
