4. Exactly how I feel lately

I just feel like an alien in my own country, and I don't recognize it anymore as the place I grew up in. It's a horrible, alienating feeling. The only thing I can do is cling to the words of my heroes, who are fighting this insanity. (Places like DU, talk show hosts, etc...). For some strange reason I keep surviving. We have to survive. Or we have to at least try.

And I hate cliches, but we have to keep going on. I mean, maybe some people will choose not to go on, but I just feel like if we don't try, we will just extinguish ourselves. It's a real dilemma.
