MrG took the job!
Thank you poll voters. He went to bed Tuesday night saying, "I'm staying put." He got up yesterday morning, got ready, went into work, realized how much he hated the place and came home. He's putting his notice in today, after cementing the deal with the other place yesterday. While I am nervous, I think he is making the right decision. The new place has told him how much they need him to accomplish their objectives.

He went back and forth on this 10 times or so... Funny how, as we get older, it is harder for us to make a decision. :hi:

1. great news, Mrs.G
it does get harder as we get older to make life changing decisions. throw family into the mix and it becomes even more difficult, imho.
If Mr.G was truly that unhappy then he made the right decision. this is a positive for him and the "G" family.

btw, didn't you guys have a house showing recently (scheduled for yesterday if i remember correctly), how'd it go?

:bounce: :hi: :hug:

2. We haven't heard back, but they did come and look at the house.
The realtor left her card. If nothing comes of this one we're going to take it off the market. Michigan real estate is not moving at all. :hug:

5. Thank you OB! He's nervous, as am I. But, I can say this because I
know it to be true, he is the tops in his industry and if anyone can be successful he can. I'll just have to double up on cheerleading for him the next couple of months. :hi;

8. Me too! It's a bit scary because he's had his present job forever,
but there was really no room for advancement and they were taking advantage of him. He was supervising the work and programming of 6 other people...without the benefits. :hug:

9. That works so long as he has nowhere else to go
As soon as there is another job...so long. :P
