sick day. I have a cold, which has dropped into my chest
and given me laryngitis. I never take sick days, so I have lots of sick time. Since I work in a call center, laryngitis is pretty much a job handicap. I am enjoying this lazy day with kitties and DU.

(I knew I was SICK when I woke up at 5:30 this morning craving a pot of tea.
I am devoted coffee in the morning person normally)

1. Mentho-lyptus (sp) rubs always help me with a chest cold.
Vapo-Rub whatevah it's called.

Hope you feel better. :-)

2. Yeah, I had a sore throat and the "blahs" last night.
They're still with me.

And I have to go to work.

Enjoy your day off and get lots of rest! :hi:

4. healing wishes for you
my cold is in day 7 today, and it's the first day I've felt even remotely human since it started. I hope you are not doomed to a similar fate.

(don't you just love the way the kitties KNOW that you need them?)

5. thank you all, better today, but still at home. I had the achey
hair hurt part yesterday. Good thing I stayed home.

Cats are the best, they snuggled with me while I watched a movie and kept me company when I was on the puter

I took a hot bath I do mean HOT with BathTherapy bath salts, which soaks the begeebers out of your achy muscles. I use it when the fibromyalgia kicks up and it is wonderful..nice lavendar aromatherapy and healing isotonic solutions. Helped a bunch.

We have a new computer game which helped to pass the time too.
