Preview of the Project Runway Fashion Show (**with pics**) maybe spoilers
As you know, all four finalists have a runway show but only 3 of them technically are the finalist. The 4th does the show as to not give away the final 3 since that show has not aired yet

Project Runway' shows how difficult designing can be
By ROBIN GIVHAN, The Washington Post

NEW YORK -- The Bravo series "Project Runway" taped its finale Friday under the tents of Bryant Park, the same place where established designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Bill Blass' Michael Vollbracht, Vera Wang and "Project Runway" judge Michael Kors debuted their spring 2007 collections earlier in the week.

Four designers presented collections. One of them served as a red herring, to keep the audience from knowing in advance which three designers had made the finals before the secret was revealed on television.

If you click the above link you'll see a dress from each of the designers, however, it's setup so you can't past them into the post

1. I'm going to hold on and watch tonight's show
I hate knowing the result beforehand.
My prediction is Ulie will be out as she's really a one-trick pony
And the Final Three - tah-rah - will be
Michael
Laura
and retch
Jeff.

2. The article doesn't tell who won
No one knows accept the producers of the show and the judges from tonight's show plus the last 4 contestants.

All 4 designers were required to put on a show regardless if they are the final 3 or not. And all 4 shows are shown at fashion week. I was told that last year, Kara Janx (4th place) actually had the best show of the 4 finalists in the competition.

If you're 4th place you'll get your runway show but it won't be shown on TV nor do you have a chance to win the top prize. But the concept of being able to show in fasion week is still a major plus to your career.

The article just shows one dress from each of the designers - gives you a glimpse of what is to come

3. I think it'll either be Michael or Jeffrey that wins
If both make it, I think it's going to be incredibly tight. If only one of the two makes it, my early prediction is that the one that made it probably wins it.

If Laura makes the final three, I think she'll do alright but get frazzled trying to make an entire collection and end up having some incomplete/unfinished looks. I think she'll also stick with what's comfortable (the elegant old-school look), and that might not impress the judges too much.

If Uli makes it, I think her tendency to make everything into a patterned hippie dress will be what sinks her. They'll be looking for something innovative and progressive, and I'm not sure she'll be able to give it to them.

I think Jeff has some advantages because he's kind of done this before and probably won't be terribly overwhelmed. I also think he's simply got very cool, interesting designs and isn't afraid to take risks. It's also clear that he really wants this thing, so he's going to be particularly motivated.

Michael has some advantages in that he's thoughtful and skilled in construction, and this will translate very well into a collection. He'll probably put together something very cohesive and well-designed and the judges already like him, so that helps too.

4. I think it's anyone's game
If Laura has problems with her collection, it's probably because the woman will be at least 6 months pregnant when she shows it. And having to deal with 5 kids, a pregnancy and a collection is a whole lot to put on a new designer. I know that Wendy Pepper was also a mother but she had one kid to deal with. But from what I read, some of those kids are nearing adulthood so hopefully she'll survive.

And btw, from the 1 picture from the collection - she looks very modern although the dress looks very simliar to her black & white cocktail dress.

I also found in ironic that the model in Uli's collection was the same one that Michael has been using for awhile (the AFrican-American with the big afro styled hair). I kinda thought she was like a muse to Michael for all of his success and I'm curious to see how she ended up in Uli's collection.

5. that's Nazri (the model Michael used a lot)
she's very beautiful.

I follow project rungay (http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/) so I saw many of the dresses last week when they showed. Don't know who won, of course, but I can say Michael's show was a bit of a let down, which surprised me.

7. yeah, Uli's was lovely - I could see myself buying many
of her dresses, but I've thought that all season long!

Laura had some lovely, classic wear, too.

ProjectRungay just cracks me the hell up. I hope Bravo reruns Seasons 1&2 (I had no TV for years, just got cable in time to catch Season 3) so that I can see those seasons (though I know they're available on DVD), but ALSO so PRungay keeps its commentary going until Season 4!

8. Interesting that Michael and Uli made the same dress (almost)
and of course, Jeffrey the Dittohead made the same dress he's been making since day one.
