9/19/06 U.N. Peace Protest Pictures & Report
Well, I ended up being late to the protest, due to some freak traffic by the train station, but I was still able to meet up with the march. I actually ended up at the front of it...ha! The police did allow us to march on the streets, even though the permit was supposed to be for a sidewalk march. However, apparently their version of allowing us to protest directly in front of the U.N. means protesting a couple hundred yards away behind some trees...cleverly hidden from Mr. Bush. The protesters were very peaceful and I did not see any arrests. However, the crowd was quite small, only a couple thousand people. Anyway, without further adieu, here are the pics...

And of course, while I was out protesting against the shredding of our constitution, Ginsberg was selling his body...

3. The mahi mahi was excellent & the drinks were even better!

This is where I ate. My friend bartends there so I was pretty hooked up drink-wise.

It also gave me a really good excuse to stop at Trinity Bar in Hoboken and drink a bunch after teh protest.
