1. I had some cereal. Kashi Strawberry Fields.
Which, interestingly, includes strawberries AND raspberries.

OK, maybe not that interestingly...

3. Veg stew that was in the crockpot today
Actually, you gave me an idea. I think the leftovers plus some mashed potatoes and I could reincarnate it as Shepard's pie tomorrow.

7. Jambalaya!
Having been inspired by Bobby Flay getting a beat down the other night, I figured I would
do my utmost not to burn my rice and I have succeded.

I know I fell well short of true stuff, but I'll fake it for myself. :)

Not bad.

29. Gumbo for the "Sand" Clan...
It was reduced sodium, but still pretty good, I thought. It had a lot of crab, shrimp and oysters in it so I'm sure it was still probably not compliant with Kev's low sodium diet, but if you don't eat Gumbo or Jambalaya at least once a month you'll go sterile--I'm convinced of it.

Lots of Thyme, pepper and garlic!

11. Dinner came out pretty good
I used different veggies this time, because I wanted to develop a carrot-free version to make flvegan one of these days (For some goofy reason he does not like carrots. I figure if this is his worst fault it's forgivable.) and it came out okay with green beans as well as the usual mushrooms, parsley and onions in the filling.

It's good though. Damn it, now I'll be thinking for days about what the heck to put in there instead.

PS On a largely unrelated note, Sis and I did figure out what I'm going to get you for your birthday.

cream of mushroom. When I ate meat, I'd make London Broil basted in a cream of mushroom gravy. Very tasty.

It comes out rather like condensed cream of mushroom soup, which I needed to make some green bean casserole for my high class :eyes: Thanksgiving celebration.
