Situation that really messed with my head today. Help!

ok i need help analyzing this situation. i'm not really sure what happened. maybe i am totally overanalyzing this.

i have a biology lab where i sit next to this girl everytime. I get there first, and she always sits down next to me by choice, since she could sit anywhere else, there are open seats. I don't know her too well, but I am polite and friendly(but not overly friendly. i have never hit on her, etc), and we sometimes do lab activities together. She has commented a couple times that she is glad that she is near me because I "always know whats going on." We have a test coming up in two days. Earlier today she asked everyone on our side of the room if they wanted to group study for the test (guys and girls), except for me. She asked them individually one by one, not just "hey you guys want to group study?" But she never asked me.

I am puzzled. Am I totally missing something here? Why would she purposely not ask me?

1. Maybe she wants to hang with you, but doesn't want to make it

overly obvious. I know it seems stupid, but I've done it and I've had it done to me.

I suppose I would just ask her...hey, how about me?
