I hearby bequeath my Toyota Corolla to Midlodemocrat
Edited on Tue Sep-19-06 01:10 PM by LynneSin
This is, of course, if I happen to kick the bucket for the spinach I ate at lunchtime. I'm guessing I'm pretty much a goner because that's all the news talks about.

In return Midlo has promised to take in my cats Abbott & Evita and give them the good life they have come to expect.

Of course if I happen to survive the Spinach incident then we will revert back to my normally scheduled parting of the goods

3. Sure - you can have Donovan McNabb
he's having a great season. Rest of the team probably ain't that good though.

My stomach is churning a bit but I'll let you know when the attacks start

7. Check the rankings- McNabb is #2 for fantasy football players
For some bizarre reason the Baltimore Defense is ranked #1

2. YAY!!!! Now I don't have to buy that rotten kid a car!!
Yippee!!!

Not that I want you to expire, LynneSin. This is purely an economic delight. I will, of course, attend the funeral in black and sob the loudest.

8. Well I have leftovers of the chicken in my fridge
It's a really great recipe - lots of garlic, oregano, lemon juice, olive oil! And after about 40 minutes in the oven you take out the chicken and toss in a bag of spinach underneath the chicken (and then put the chicken back into the pan) and add Asaigo Cheese overtop. Cook for another 10 minutes and you're done

Yummy!!

10. Doesn't Toyota advertise on ABC?
Ditch the car now. You'll never be able to drive ABC bankrupt if you keep using products that advertise on that network

11. Anything I have purchased under the influence of ABC before that docucrap
doesn't count

Anyhow, oddly enough I blocked out all those channels and realized that I hardly watch anything on ABC. I don't even watch ESPN - I can get that information from the internet.

The only real sacrifice I'm making is I will no longer be watching "Lost". Anyhow, those TV shows with the weird plots usually starts to grow stale after 3 seasons (ie - Twin Peaks)

12. Enjoy your SAAB or Peugeot
Off the top of my head those are the only cars that don't advertise on ABC and you're gonna have to replace your car eventually.

I don't have a good enough cable package to get ESPN so I'm joining your boycott without even trying

13. Yes but it's a Toyota and only have 50k miles
And those things will last up to 200k and I only put about 12k a year on my car. So factoring in those numbers (and provided I keep my car in good shape) I might have that car for another 12.5 years until I replace it.

And in our family, we keep cars until they die

By then American Airlines will have discovered a new form of transportation that will replace the use of everyday cars. And since we know American is planning on pulling their ads from ABC I'll be safe
