First night of classes

Tonight I'm supposed to start night school. Problem is I am fighting a cold and the cold is winning.

I came to work today (after being out Thurs & Fri, and sick all weekend) and managed to get some work done, but I'm fading fast. Class doesn't start for another 5 hours.

What now?

1. I'm sorry you're sick, sweetie.

:hug: If it were me, I'd go and stay as long as I could. If you can get there a few minutes early, you can talk to the instructor and tell him/her you're sick and you might have to duck out early. That way, you can get any assigments you might have for the next class. :)

I was in similiar situations with jobs, first days...while I was extremely sick, or hurting bad...I definately toughed it out, and let the bosses know I wasn't just trying to blow my work/job off.

3. Ugh. That sucks!

I voted for "go lay down in boss' office". Rest now, but definitely go to class, at least for a while. Talk to the prof before class and then leave during a break if you can't make it.
