Well, I Got My First Birthday Present!
My friend gave me a b-day present early. (My 50th is this coming Saturday.)

He got me the DVD for Crossroads. (No not the Britney Spears movie.)

I have a thing for that movie and he knew it. He finally found it and gave it to me Saturday. I've watched it twice already, and the duel at the end another three times.

I also watched the scene where Willie and Eugene go into the black joot joint and tear the roof off a couple extra times.

Pretty cool. I didn't even know it was on DVD.

I won't be here in the Lounge on Saturday, so thanks for the early greeting.

4. Well happy birthday
You've got me lost on the movie, I thought it had something to do with Eric Clapton, I'll have to go find a description now.

5. Nope. Sorry, Should Have Been Clearer
It's a musical take on "The Karate Kid" where Ralph Macchio plays a classical guitar prodigy looking to "find the blues". So, he hooks up with a famous old blues player. The "Willie Brown" from the song Crossroads.

Willie needs to get back to the crossroads, because he made the same deal with the devil that Robert Johnson made. So, they go "hoboin'" to get back to the crossroads.

I love that movie.

7. It's A Good Thing!
If you hadn't seen Spinal Tap, i'd have to come over there and smack you one! Every music fan needs to have seen T.I.S.T. It's an absolute must!
