Welcome to the beginning of another work week, my crew, and the Monday edition of the Early Morning Crew, thread! :bounce: I hope you had a nice weekend where you got to relax and have some fun because the weekends go by so fast! I had to work on Saturday, but it was a good day, and Sunday was nice also. We had a going away party for one of our managers at the store at "Los Compadres", a mexican restaurant here in Tallahassee. The food wasn't that good, but we all had a great time!

Talk has begun of the holiday season (of course) and I can't believe that it's nearly time to start getting our Christmas product! Where did the year go? Tell me! Tell me now! :rofl:

Well, it didn't go so well. The groomer found that he had a lot of mats right down next to his skin that she couldn't do anything with, so...she had to completely shave him. Head to toe. :cry: So, no pictures until it grows out some and he can have some sort of style. She DID say he was a beautiful example of a Standard Poodle and she'd love to see him in a "show coat", so that's what we're working towards.

A new car! :bounce: That's so exciting! You'll have to post some pictures of it when you get it home to show us!

:hug: Poor Tony... But, I bet he feels better. We have that problem with Jessie too because of her long coat. She hates being brushed so it's always a struggle against the mats.

23. Well, it would have helped if I knew exactly HOW to brush him.

I would brush him, but evidently I was only brushing the top coat and not getting down underneath. He looks about half his size now and I felt so bad that he had to lose it all, but I think now that it was for the best. We can take care of it better now.

Glad to hear that you had a good weekend. I put in a few hours at work on Saturday, but then after that all I did was relax. Did a few necessary things around the house but that was it.

I sympathize with brushing Tony. My cat's old and her grooming isn't what it used to be, so I try to brush her more often than when she was younger, but mats still appears, poor dear.

I did some things around the house too on Sunday morning, but other than that, I had a relaxing day.

Poodles have such curley hair and I wasn't exactly sure HOW to brush him and that's why he had the problems. I THOUGHT I was doing a good job, but evidently not. It's good to see you this morning! I can't wait to have AirmensMom, Joani and MissHoneyChurch back in the thread! :bounce:
