I define torture thus: acts that make CaliforniaPeggy feel bad are torture
That is, if any act makes CaliforniaPeggy go "ewwww" or feel bad or have a worse reaction, then that action is torture.

It would be more fun to define it as whatever makes Rabrrrrrr go "ew", but that's entering a whole 'nother world of.... um..... well, let's just leave it as a whole 'nother world.

But I do think CaliforniaPeggy is the perfect and best litmus test for what is torture and what isn't.

Thank you, CaliforniaPeggy, for being who you are and challenging us all to be more... well, human.

2. One question about this pronouncement.
Is there ANYTHING that would make Rabrrrrrr go 'ew'? Other than Thomas Kinkade paintings and resin like works of art I mean.

Just curious.

5. That is a difficult question to answer...
there is the part of me that feels it more crude and inhuman to, say, force a prisoner to listen to rap or hiphop or pop music, and to live in a cell with Kinkade paintings and watch really bad Tom Cruise movies directed by Ron Howard than it is to put electrodes on their testicles or chainsaw an arm off.

At least for me, the rap is worse than the electrodes.

Not really, though.
