wish me luck. worst part was drinking half that nasty budweiser x(

is it as good as they claim? :shrug:

1. My husband excels at beer can chicken
I'm a vegetarian, but he isn't.

He receives constant requests to do beer can chicken at bbqs & campsites.

So, apparently it is pretty good.

You could have just poured out the Bud, instead of drinking it, or is that against your religion?

And japanese bread crumbs for a healthy, baked version of fried chicken.

7. Yep, those are tasty as well.
These japanese bread crumbs are very crispy too. I think this suggestion came courtesy one of the network cooking shows. I think they are called Panko. Great for fish/shrimp too.

5. Don't Use Budweiser
When cooking with beer, you should apply the same rule you would to cooking with wine - if you wouldn't drink it, don't cook with it.

Of course, I won't drink any beer, but when cooking with it, I go by the aroma. If it smells like something I'd want to drink, I'll use it.

I tried it years ago when I used to do "car camping" but couldn't sustain the fire long enough, so we had salad, beans, bread, and beer and beer.

turned out good. I love the way it stays so moist and has so much flavor.

We dump the beer out of the can after cooking the chicken.
