Favorite Italian Movie
Last night I did the Italian Movie Trifecta - "La Vita è bella", "Il Postino" and "Cinema Paradiso". I can honestly say that after watching those 3 movies, but the end I think I cried every tear I owned and then some.

What are your favorite Italian movies (Italian meaning they were made in Italy with Italians)

1. Hmm
I assume from your qualifiers, no spaghetti westerns. Otherwise I would say Once Upon a Time in the West.

Let me think;

Probably would be Volere Volare with The Icicle Thief (Ladri di saponette) a close second.

3. The Conformist or that Antonioni one where Monica Vitti disappears.
Blanking on the name right now, but it's a great movie.

The Bicycle Thief and Open City are also great.

Ooh, so is Suspiria.

8. I am a Dario Argento fan
I used to watch those movies as a young girl.. yes, I know, creepy, but I made it to adulthood alive and well.

La Vita e` Bella is my other favorite.
