3. Read the Patriot Acts in their entirety and you'll see the country is
fascist, or at the very least the government has full provisions to legally turn this into a fascist police state.

Corporatist, or at least my definition means that the Republican fucksocks in government will do whatever is best for the corporations. If that infringes on our civil liberties, they don't give a shit about constitutionality.

And, BTW, you're not an idiot. Think I'll change my post title.

17. There was a novel by Kafka with that name.
Wikipedians describe the major themes:

The novel is more explicitly humorous and slightly more realistic than most of Kafka's works, but it shares the same motifs of an oppressive and intangible system putting the protagonist repeatedly in bizarre situations. Specifically, within Amerika, a scorned individual often must plead his innocence in front of remote and mysterious figures of authority.
