Poll question: Should I take this medication that was prescribed by a doctor?
It may, and probably will, cause fatigue, dizziness, short term memory loss and flatulence.

2. My dear MoseyWalker......
You do realize that you're asking for medical advice here.......

And this thread will most likely be locked...

I would say.....take the medicine!

Your doctor prescribed it to fix some problem that you have...

These are very common side effects, BTW...........

Proceed cautiously the first day or two to see how you respond!

If you have a problem, let him know right away........

Good luck!

4. What's the medication supposed to 'cure' or 'treat'?
And if you know your own history with drug interactions, you might be able to form your own conclusion.

Start with half the dose in the prescription if you can.

This isn't medical advice, mind you. Your doc already prescribed it, but you have the power of veto - you can not take it or start more slowly and increase the dosage more slowly if you feel comfortable that way.

I've had to.

9. Heavens, no. Doctors' orders should always be disobeyed.
Vehemently.
