I had 3 servings of steamed green beans and 1 serving of steamed broccoli too... But that's a lot of shrimp...

5. It was a new entree at Old People Buffet...
or whatever they call themselves. Their parent company is a so-called "blue company". I prefer to eat at local establishments and not at some big-ass chain (so red or blue, they only care about green), but I was starving and my favorite non-chain restaurant is 20 miles away. :cry:

They have 5 varieties of shrimp on Fridays. Coconut shrimp, shrimp scampi, butteryfly shrimp, buffalo shrimp, and the 5th item didn't look appetizing so I didn't try it.

But I ingested enough cholesterol to kill a herd of horses - but it sure as hell tasted good. And unlike sex, I had it! :9

Now I really don't start "those" threads. I do make comments that could be perceived in that way, but I can't control other peoples' perceptions... O8) :evilgrin:

Not that I want to redefine the concept of "Asian Buffet" or anything... and half the jokes in the 1967 movie "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" (with the original, unedited soundtrack intact...)

Oh, it's best to throw out food that's been left in the fridge more than 3 days. Mold and nasty bacteria start to grow... it's not quite the 'culture of life' we had intended... :rofl:

Nothing a little thai chili paste can't fix. Speaking Asian buffets, I could go for some yung poon tang. I heard it's really good on sticky rice.

There's this one buffet I frequent in Roseville - Panda Garden Buffet. The food isn't half-bad at all (they've won a few awards, rightly so!), but the people are quite nice indeed. Once I find a good restaurant, I like to be a repeat customer and show them my support. Especially if they're local and not some bigwig corporate behemoth.

Ol' Mexico - I've not been there in years, but the last time I was there it was good.

I also recall it was a Chinese restaurant (not the buffet type) before O'M leased it. My parents, grandmum, and aunt and I went there waaaaaaaay back when. Those were the days... I recall many of the furnishings too. Red walls; the design and texture of the chairs and booths; the tables... the mirrors... all of it. Best of all, that was a good memory. The bad ones aren't nowhere near as nice... and those have a habit of coming back to remind me not to forget they happened... :(

27. For some reason, "Oatmeal" was the first thing to come to mind.
Which is strange, I don't eat oatmeal.

Now I drink coffee with slim fast mixed in it, but I usually don't drink that from a bowl. Unless I use a milk bone brand doggie biscuit as an expensive substitute for a stir rod... those things are tasty too. However, I went back to eating triscuits like a good boy... :rofl:

steamed with garlic and tons of garlic French bread. AND Broccoli!! Feast? YEAH! :D
