What should I listen to?
I got about 500 CDs loaded on my MP3 player but I'm not having any particular cravings. Make a suggestion and I'll play the closest that I have to it

8. Would listening to Folkways: A Vision Shared, count?
I can't listen to the Joshua Tree since it was released the same week that my beloved alma mater choked in the NCAA basketball tournament

5. I guess I could listen to some Yo La Tengo
They did the score for the movie Junebug which has nothing to do with that B-52s song

11. For some reason that reminded me of my Dr Martens sampler
Don't know why and I'm too lazy to look up the track listings, now listening to Lush, followed by Ministry, followed by Filter

10. Dismemberment Plan
Great lyrics, one of rock's best rhythm sections, and some catchy guitar parts. Then they broke up, because bands that I like always break up.

12. Rock's best rhythm section was Booker T and the MGs
I'll listen to them after I walk the dogs, and them maybe some artists listed as similar or influences on Dismemberment Plan's allmusic.com entry

13. True dat, my bad
I guess maybe late 90's to early 00's best rhythm section. They work crazy time signatures for what might otherwise be considered loud power pop. As a bonus, they only put out 4 albums. So, if you like them, you can be an aficionado in no time.
