I'd probably be very nervous.

I'd also be surprised; typically it is the male who is to make all of the advances. Understandable, as our bigoted society claims if a woman makes an advance she is deemed a "slut". (Disgusting, I agree. Besides, men are the real sluts - we stereotypically do anything for anywhere, anywhere)

But I digress. My persona is a reactive type; I have difficulty in initiating conversation, so I tend to speak once spoken to.

Just send a drink to her via the bartender. She'll ask who sent it. When the bartender points you out, smile and nod. Here's the important part - do not look at her again until she comes over to say thank you: If you do, it can seem creepy and she might not come over. If you don't, it'll make you a man of mystery and she won't be able to resist. At least that's the way it usually works.
