I'm organizing a Rosh HaShanah lunch for 40 people!
I've already delegated the kugels and the tzimmis. I will volunteer someone for the salad and pick up challahs from a bakery. That leaves only brisket for 40. CROCK POTS! I NEED CROCK POTS!

4. Apples w/honey for a sweet year; round challah and a new
fruit so you can say the blessing that gives thanks for being kept around to enjoy it.

7. Our menu will be
Brisket
Challah
Kugel
Tzimmis
Salad.

Apples, carrots, honey and other sweet foods are traditional, symbolizing a sweet year.

5. Sounds like fun!
I have three, but the shipping would be scandalous. Target has a 4 quart red one on sale right now for $19.99!

l'shanah tovah, Ellen!

6. L'Shana Tova...
I'd lend you mine if we lived near each other. I thought I had it hard with 18-20 for dinner. 40 -- Ack!! I generally have my menu planned by now, but this has been a difficult couple off months so I have nothing done. I may actually be sacrilegious and order some things pre-made like kugle.

Hope it goes really well.
:hi:

8. Everything has been delegated
except for the brisket, which I'm doing in a series of borrowed crockpots. Everything is coming together nicely.
