Songs that you hated cause of hype...but years later enjoy

I hated "When I come around" by Green Day when it came out.. .just cause of all the hype. It was in my face too much. But, years later, I realized, it's a good tune.

1. "Push It" by Salt n Pepa.

Years ago, I was tortured by all my classmates playing it on the bus all the way from NC to Florida. Back then, it gave me a headache and kept me from plotting how I was going to smuggle my dope onto the boat through customs. The battery compartment of my walkman solved both problems. Today, I really like the song although I no longer have that walkman nor the drugs. :evilgrin:

2. Crazy by Gnarls Barkley

I hated that song with a passion when it came out in 2006. Now that it's been about a decade since its release I've grown to appreciate it

3. "Refugee" by Tom Petty

I'm a big fan of Tom but "Refugee" got way to much air play in its day. At one time I didn't care if I ever heard it again, now it sounds great.
