Poll question: When you talk to people, how often do you NOT realize what you're saying?
Meaning, are you thinking of one thing, but what you are saying could be misinterpreted?

3. I've learned to look for reactions
That is a big advantage of face to face conversation compared to other forms. A minor disagreement carried out in conversation over email can quickly turn into "I hate you and neverwant to see you again." without that being the intention of either party.

4. fairly often
...but I can usually get it straightened out. Even worse, is when I say the opposite of what I am trying to say, which happens quite often. Like saying "Turn right" when I mean to say "Turn left." It is a nuisance but leads to much unintentional humor for friends and family to enjoy.

5. Say what?
How often do I not realize that I don't realize the realization of the reality that I am realizing? Do you realize what you are asking me to realize?...really?...unreal!...really...oh wait a minute, perhaps I misinterpreted your question...nevermind.

6. often
lucky for me, i don't speak with too many people who wouldn't have enough sense to ask me to clarify if they didn't know what i was saying.

7. Constantly
I don't even know what I mean half the time...:eyes:

I hate to use my ADD as an excuse for such things, but this is undoubtedly a case where it manifests itself in a very bad way. It's hard to complete one coherent thought before 47 others have pushed their way to the forefront, leading to many mixed sentences and misplaced statements. This has gotten me into trouble more than I care to remember. :( x(

8. Most of the time, I'd like to think I'm pretty coherent
Occasionally though, often if I'm emotional about something, after speaking, I feel like I just rambled like a babbling idiot. Sometimes, I even do it here when I'm writing something.
