I'm gonna bake a potato.
All by myself.
I looked it up on Alton Brown's website.
350 oven for an hour.
You need to wash it and prick it all over first.
I don't see how I can possibly screw this up.
Did I mention that it's cook's night off?

Actually, cook is with our daughter in Boston for a week.
Tending her sprained ankle, riding herd on our 4 year old grandson,
and generally running the household up there.

I'm coping.
;-)

2. Just nuke it on high for about 6-8 minutes, trof.
Nobody bakes potatoes in an oven anymore. :)

5. Nuked spuds are gummy.
And the skins aren't crispy.
I used to nuke 'em back when microwaves were the big new thing.
Really prefer old fashioned oven baked, or baked on coals on the grill.
