"Angels...on this message board?" --Another Rapture Ready Treat
Ah, the Rapture Ready people never cease to amaze me. They're actually debating whether an angel could answer their questions online. Could you imagine how awesome that would be? I mean, God sending angels through the tubes of the internets to answer our questions. Sure we want "Ask the Administrators" back, but imagine if we had an "Ask the Angels" forum. That'd be completely rapturous!

Angels...on this message board?
I was thinking about angels earlier today. If angels can come to the earth to help people on the street or subway, why couldn't angels come to the internet, to this very message board, to help people on their journey. I think, if God wants to grant somebody with an answer nobody else will answer, He could send an angel to do this job. I think this is a real possible situation. I'm not saying it has happened or it will but I think it is possible.

What do you think?

Come on, EvilDUers...what do you think?

firescorpy
That would be awesome!! Yeah, I believe so, that angels could be on this board... God works in so many ways.

Then, somebody gets scared!

whirlwind
The scary thing is, if holy angels can post on this board does that mean demons can also post?

5. I kind of want a Rapture Ready shirt.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye...Are you rapture ready?"

It will fit right in with my huge collection of snarky t-shirts. It's only fitting that I own shirts from sex toy stores and whacko fundie boards.

And the description: "She is sure to bring you peace and serenity as you work on your computer. On her own tiny little laptop this Guardian Angel is connected to www.heaven.com, which will get you connected to safe shopping sites."

All's good now.

9. Woah, that thing is fugly!
People buy the weirdest shit as "decor." My mother's decorating skills are proof of this. I should take a picture sometime of the seagull candle holder she bought. I thought it came from the dollar store, but apparently it was like $40.

32. She's not fugly!
She looks more like an FAS kid (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). Have seen many of these kids when I worked as a SPEd teacher....she has the face of FAS.

So sad..an Internet Angel with a laptop. Sure hope someone has activated the parental controls for her! So easy to click on those bad and demonic pop-ups! :P

That's all you should need. Make 'em cower a bit. Or is it grovel? I always get those two mixed up.

Man, you're even beginning to sound biblical.

How about Azraphael? Or Crowley? Good bet that crowd has never read Good Omens.

17. Another priceless thread..."Will we have wings?"
http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=274409

September 3rd, 2006, 07:55 PM
Man4Jesus

Will we have wings?
Will we have wings when we go to heaven? I know it says God made us in his image and since we don't have wings now, that God doesn't have wings. I'm just curious since so many things on earth and the angels in heaven have wings? Sorry just thought I had.

What the fuck? These are the thoughts that consume their minds. A debate on wings?

22. And what of the pregnant Christians?
Question What about Christian Pregnant Women In The Rapture?

Hi all! I'm new here! (Okay, I admit, I've been lurking for awhile!)

I absolutely love this board and am not ashamed to admit it is the first thing I check when I get home from work every day!

So my first question for all of you rapture ready veterans is this....When a Christian pregnant woman is raptured, will she stay pregnant for eternity? Also, if all of the babies who were a result of miscarriages or abortions are to be in heaven, will they be at exactly the same stage they were when they died? For instance, will there be a big "fetus nursery" in heaven?

Also, when we are raptured, what will our new bodies look like? Will my 77 year old grandmother still look 77 or am I not going to be able to find her because she's some young chick somewhere?

Thanks for any input you all may have!

Melanie

28. We need an "angel" to tell them that would be like having an abortion,
so no pregnant women will be raptured. Maybe that will cut down on their breeding.

29. But the Rapture already happened
It occurred on March 22, 1981. Nobody made the cut.

It wasn't the big deal everyone thought it would be. It only made page 4 of the NY Times, so most people missed it altogether. Look it up.
