I locked my keys in my car, but it's not my fault.
I blame flvegan, he called just as I was rounding the corner to my house so I was off in my own world :loveya: talking to him and got right out of the car and closed the door, and wouldn't you know all my windows were up nice and tight? :eyes:

I feel like such an idiot.

PS I talked to him for an hour, then I called the locksmith. I have my priorities in order damn it. Hottie on the phone :dilemma: Getting to school in the morning

1. The locksmith came and rescued me from my own stupidity
Turns out I not only locked the keys in the car, I locked my wallet in the car, and I left the car in drive. I did actually turn the car off and turn off the headlights, for what it's worth.

Note to self: get a less adorable boyfriend, or a hide-a-key.

3. Yeah, we broke into Dad's Impala and Camaro about a million times
All it took was a coat hanger and about two swear words worth of effort, until we realized that the GM security folks were so on the ball that they only make a handfull of keys and the Impala's trunk key would open up the doors on the Camaro.

4. The wing windows are what make it easy

When the latch is 41 years old, one good shot with the base of your hand and that sucker's open. Or you can do it sans damage with a properly bent hacksaw blade.
I'll be replacing mine soon. :scared:

Edit: I locked the keys in my '66 10 times and never once had to call a locksmith.

I have my car keys, I can get to school, and all is well.

I'm tired as hell though.

PS My sister was making fun of me: "Somebody's in loooooooove!" Yay siblings.
