fishermen: marlin, dorado charter reccomendations please
I havent seen my dad in a few years and Id like to book a charter sometime in the next year. Some catch-and-release marlin fishing and then a few keeper dorado for the freezer back home is what Ive got in mind.

alternatives you can think of are certainly appreciated.

Anyone got any charter or destination reccommendations?

thanks in advance
gkd

2. I did in Maui.
None of us caught anything though. The next boat over though came back with a 950lb marlin. I forget the names of the charter companies though, but it was around Makena.

3. Bermuda
We took a cruise there and my husband, son , future son in law and others went fishing.
They caught Marlin and a yellow tuna, the marlin they tagged and released the tuna they kept.
It had been a bad run there for a while and nobody was catching anything.
When they returned to port the other boats were clapping and bowing to them.....
They put up fish flags when they catch marlin so everyone knows what they caught.
The tuna spoke for itself. If you are interested let me know and I will look for the name of the charter company.

5. In Late April /May
Walkers Cay/Grand Cay Bahamas.

The fishing in those parts at that time of year is out of control. Marlin: White,Blue or Striped? Take your pick. They are there feeding on the Tuna. Speaking of which: all the Yellowfin or Blackfin you'd care to catch. Dolphin: so many you'd fish off 'em. Grouper and snapper if the moon is full. Wahoo? hit the alley

I just want to catch a marlin with him, for a little bonding, and then take a few dolphin or tuna to fry at home and drink some sctoch after.

thanks!
