Looks like Marietta area of GA has the most reports of obvious shaking.

Weird experience, isn't it? The first quake that I experienced was in Maine, another place where it's rare to have ones strong enough to notice. The epicenter for that one was in Quebec province.

Did it feel more like a rumble or a quick jolt followed by things swaying?

7. Felt it here in the Tampa Bay Area

At first I thought my neighbor had fired up his Harley, but then I didn't hear anything. Not much of an earthquake really. I just hope it wasn't a pre-tremor and a precursor of things to come. Nothing like I remember from my three years in Korea where whole building shook and dams broke.
