She's getting on my nerves. She's sitting by the atrium door pawing at it and singing. LOUDLY.

:P

3. I'd let her out, but I don't want to soak the hardwood floor
or close the door behind her and have her howl loud enough to wake up the s.o.

Incidentally, this is about the second photo I've ever taken of Evie where you can actually see her face. One of her nicknames is None More Black. :D

5. Um, yeah, ya know, the condensed water what falls from the sky
and makes kitty wanna go outside and FIND A DRY SPOT in the atrium, for some inexplicable #&@*$% reason...

That kitty looks awfully comfy... :loveya:

4. My black kitty does that too.

Or she will see it is raining when she looks out the bay window in the living room, so then she goes running to the kitchen so I can let her out that door. Obviously, it can't be raining out the kitchen door, can it? If it is, then of course it's MY fault! I MAKE it rain on purpose, just to ruin her day. That is, if you were to believe her. :P

6. Her dad lives with us - he's black too, and he *hates* the rain
Her white tabby brother, Plato, is aka Aquatread. When he was very small, he used to swim in the potty when nobody was looking. I'm guessing the whole water tolerance thing is genetic in some way, but it's still very weird.

In a warm and furry and cute sort of way. :D

Mine want no part of rain...Dora paws at the basement door (now that we have one) when rain is on the way...she's my weather detector!

12. Yeah, I can never quite understand that.
My cats will freak out if a random drop of water touches them inside the house.

Torrential downpour outside? No problem. They'll run around in it all day.

:wtf:
