OK, so my cat lost her voice...
Frankly I'm puzzled, about a Week ago my cat ended up losing her voice. She would try to meow, and would squeak instead. From day to day it varied from a really high pitched, quick, squeak, like a mouse, to sounding extremely dry and silent.

She was due for her shots anyways, so we went to the vet, she has no fever, and other than the voice, doesn't act sick, the vet thinks she has laryngitis, lymph nodes are find, no swelling, no infection. Problem is this, since she has laryngitis, the only cure is to not use your voice, so my question is, how the hell do I get her to shut up, at least till she can actually meow so I can hear her?
