1. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they broke $100K
If you look elsewhere on Ebay at vintage instruments, prices that are being fetched for serious vintage guitars is mind blowing. I recall seeing an early 1960s period Fender Stratocaster body, without a neck, that was seeing bids at about $14,000.00. What's going on with many of these guitars is that they are being purchased by investors and maybe a few rich elite players. Most musicians simply can't afford that dream Strat or vintage Les Paul.

The auction of the Brucker collection of Von Dutch
artifacts:

$300,000 dollars for Kenny Howard's (Von Dutch)original
paint/tool box. Up to $150,000 for a promotional sign for
the Kenford. His original striping for the legendary
Hirohata Merc still survives.
