1. Well, it is a depressant.
Honestly, if it makes you feel depressed, then what's the point of drinking. When I drink, I either stay in my current mood or become happier. I'm not a sad drunk.

2. Sometimes, yeah.
Just another reason why I don't drink much. I don't even remember the last time I was drunk.

3. Usually just I do. Why?
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 08:38 PM by Rabrrrrrr
Though I supposed if I were on a bender at an event in which it is inappropriate, some of my family might be depressed; but otherwise, why would other people get depressed if I'm drunk?

4. Maybe you're not drinking enough.
OR! Maybe you're just in need of help in dealing with your cognitive dissonance.

5. I haven't been drunk in...damn...
twenty years? If then? I haven't had a drink at all in close to fifteen. I remember being giggly, though. But...might be different now.

Dunno.

12. Exactly the opposite.
I get more giddy and happier. The great thing is that I am giddy and happy even BEFORE I drink!

13. To specifically answer your question . . .
. . . I can't imagine anyone else getting depressed when I'm drunk. Why should they? I don't.

;)

14. It depends on whether something was bothering me
before I started drinking or whether I was in a good mood. If I was in a good mood, most likely, I will not get depressed. If something was bothering me, I tend to dwell on it and get all sloppy drunk and cry myself to sleep. I rarely drink nowadays though.

I'm more apt to get depressed after two drinks. Drunk, I'm a happy camper!

That's why I don't drink any more. If I so wish (and I don't), there are cheaper ways for me to get depressed...

I am slowly learning to let go of good red wine. I LOVE great red wine. But it doesn't love me.

22. just amplifies any moods i already have
i get extremely mischevious, silly, and argumentative. that is heavy buzzed.

cold drunk there is no telling how i will act. usually bad.

if you get depressed when you drink then you need to drink faster. (very bad advice)
