1. Great choice of episodes!
Are these the originals or have they been retooled with the new music and f/x?

8. Okay, Trekkie Nerds...
...who remembers the VERY FIRST episode ever aired in fall of '66???

(I actually saw it. I was three months shy of my 12th b'day.)

And BTW, it's not Roddenberry's pilot, the two-parter called "The Menagerie". So have at it:popcorn:

13. I think that's what it was called.
...anyway, it was the one with the shape-changer who drained all the salt from crewmembers' bodies and you recognised it because whoever it became it chewed on its knuckles.

"The Menagerie" was aired over Thanksgiving that year, because I remember being with my 12 year old sister at my cousin's house and she insisted we watch it.

Amazing. No matter how people try to trivialise ST, Nasa and other scientists, techologians who've brought us all these great cutting edge digital products in the last 4 decades have totally been inspired from watching a sci-fi TV show that barely lasted 3 years.

5. The bar fight in 'Tribbles'
and the subsequent dressing-down by Kirk of those involved is probably my favorite ST scene ever.

"Scotch was inwented by little old lady in Leningrad."

6. "Storage compartments? Storage compartments?"
I don't know whose idea it was to repeat lines in Tribbles but it was so damn funny. And City on the Edge of Forever has always been one of my favorites.

10. My favorite Gorn quote
"Grrrkkkzzzaaakkk..."

Of course I might not have the classical spelling correct.

14. I'm such a fucking dork.
I just realized that I can give an impromptu plot synopsis based on every ST:TOS episode.

That said; at least I'm not a fan-boy, Trekkie/Trekker, dress-up dork.

17. NOTHING wrong with being a fan boy/girl...
says one with TWO Fourth Doctor, Doctor Who scarves and a PROUD owner of an Obi Wan Jedi costume.

15. The disguised Klingon agent that the Tribble recognizes . . .
. . . looks like an "Arab."

Truth? Or consequences?

16. Isn't Plato's Stepchildren the episode where the
first interracial kiss on American TV took place?

Tood episodes, all of them...some of my faves!! I was at the movies seeing Little Miss Sunshine and missed Man Trap and City on the Edge of Forever (one of my very favorite episodes).
