I really shouldn't complain, though. My boss reimburses me. That said, I've found that the cheaper hotels offer free WiFi. The "nicer" places make you pay out the ass.

I stole the free WiFi from the hotel next door. I didn't realize that I was being an "internet hobo" until I thanked the guy at the front desk for having a free connection. His reply was:

"WiFi? What?"

This was in Nashville, BTW.

15. Every hotel is different, it is obnoxious.

I use several chain hotels, haven't stayed in a red roof in a couple of years (no comedy central). But now they have remodeled and HAVE comedy central. I am annoyed at the internet surcharge too. I would be an internet hobo if I could!
