Poll question: City Mouse or Country Mouse?
As for I, I am a city mouse.

There is no feeling like that of a major modern metropolis at 8AM. The energy alone is enough to get you up in the morning without that double latte.

And you can find and or do anything you want at any hour of day.

I mean I like the country and wilderness, but prefer to visit. I lived in upcountry "Chonobot" Thailand for 3 years, and I like being near THINGS....

But that's just me....I like being around people, no matter how much I despise them.

1. Country mouse
definitely. I love open space, where you can see a long way. Being surrounded with buildings drives me nuts. I live in a city of 18,000, and it's too big for me. I'm planning to retire to rural Iowa--the ruraler the better!

2. Both!
I grew up in a largish city and I now live in the country. I love them both equally.

3. City mouse for exactly the same reasons you describe.
:hi: Born and raised in Atlanta, and I love New York, Boston, and Chicago. :) I'm glad that when I visit my sister and her husband on their farm that I can go home and not have to stay---it's fine to visit, but I don't want to have to drive 20 miles to get to the nearest (crappy) grocery store. :yoiks:
