Woke up the dogs, woke up my wife and I. First day of school. I guess they are excited and anxious of something. Sheesh! :D

1. That's funny! Is this happening now ?

If so , they can't go back to bed with their clothes on and go to the first day of school all wrinkly! ;)
My 11-yr-old son likes to sleep in his clothes once in a while.

3. It was happening as I was typing.
We sent them back to bed and told them to wait for some sunlight.

2. Cute! Usually that kind of report comes on Dec. 24, not Sept. 6!
How old are the kids?

Hope you got some rest before reading this!

5. This will make up for some wintery day when the sun isn't up until
late -- and they're still in bed and begging to stay home for JUST TODAY! You may get a fake cough or sneeze or two to underscore their purported condition!

We used to have "mental health days" so the kids could stay home from school -- and then we went SOMEPLACE SPECIAL!

Well, you'll see... it's a long while to high school graduation! Have fun!

Warm regards,

Radio_Lady (Wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother and radio talk show host, now retired)
