What dog are you?
I'm a German spitz! It looks remarkably like a slightly larger Pomeranian.

2. I'm pretty disappointed.
I'm an Irish terrier, even though I'm Irish, I'm not a fan of the breed. I think they look weird.

Personally, I wish I was a German Shepherd or a Pit Bull, my two favorite breeds.

14. Yeah, at least I like the personality of the Irish terrier and they look
way better than a maltese. Honestly, if the quiz said I was a Maltese, I would be fully convinced it was crap, especially since I've been around Shepherds, Pits and Rotts my whole life (and I wouldn't have it any other way). I like tough dogs. If you're gonna get a dog, get a real dog. Otherwise, get a cat. I have cats and I love them completely, but they are 10,000 times more awesome than some little prissy dog. Hell, one of my cats weighs in at 8.5lbs and has yet to meet a dog she couldn't instill the fear of god into (even though they could all have ripped her to pieces...proof that it's all in the attitude).

15. So completely in agreement on your assessment of both
cats and dogs. I'm a cat person because I admire their hauteur and independence, not to mention their ability to find their own meal out on the street. Plus, they're soft, beautiful & don't smell or fill your yard with shit. Sorry, not a dog person.

22. Yeah and I've met far more "vicious" toy dogs than I have from dogs that
were "dangerous" breeds. Personally, I think this is because people who keep little dogs treat them like cats and you can't treat a dog like a cat. Cats own the human, but humans have to own the dog. I'm a dominant person, so I do fine with dogs that outweigh me. Personally, I'll trust a Pit Bull or a Rottweiler not to attack me more than I will a yorkie.

One of my favorite breeds, although I thought I would be a Golden Retriever. It's amazing how "border collie" my personality is though - I need constant mental stimulation or I get destructive, heh heh.

Don't ask how it came about; it's really really gross. And much like the Bernese Mountain Dog, I need my space and don't do well in an urban setting. Indeed, annoy me and I'll pee on the carpet too.

They're like German Shepherds, except they're leaner and usually brindle-colored. Basically, another guard/herding dog.

37. I'm a Canaan
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 08:12 AM by OhioBlues
The Canaan Dog is a recently domesticated breed derived from a specific type of pariah dog that inhabits remote locations of what is now the land of Israel. These tough desert born survivors are resilient, intelligent and independent dogs. This is not a man-made breed, but that of one evolved for thousands of years by the harsh environment of this region.

I'd never heard of them but it was nice to learn something new.

45. Staffordshire bull terrier
The Staffordshire bull terrier is one of the most popular dogs in the world. It makes a fine family member and household guard. Affectionate and loyal it adores children, but is not averse to a ruckus with other dogs, and usually ends up the victor.
