i used to go in there and then need to be rolled out afterwards.

12. The one I go to is a restaurant but also a good bar/social scene.

Maybe the fact that it's a restaurant has an impact on its snacks. It also serves sandwiches but I never want to eat that much when I'm out!

15. I like to go to different types of places.

However the selection is v. limited up here. Those with live music tend to have really bad bands (with a few exceptions) but if somebody good is playing, I'll go. Otherwise, they have sports bars. If I'm out "looking" I need to go where I'm likely to fine a likely man. The sports bar isn't it :) Nor, for that matter, is any bar where the men show up in suits.

16. i kinda miss the midwest

i'd get bored sometimes and head out on the first amtrak in any direction from chicago union station for a 4 hour trip on fridays.

then head to the bars right by the railroad tracks.

then wake up saturday morning and hit the main street, and antique shops, old drug stores, shit like that. eat at diners and go back to the hotel to watch teevee. i often needed breaks like that from my ex.
