Confess!!!! Q-tip addicts check in
Edited on Tue Sep-05-06 09:53 PM by LynneSin
I'm addicted - I have boxes in my bedroom, bathroom, workbag AND by my desk

http://www.43things.com/things/view/317825

I'm an addict but I love to clean my ears out with Q-tips!

Who else loves the Q-tip?

6. I'm a twice-a-day guy.
I hate the feel of greasy, waxy ears.

My ears are so clean, you could perform surgery in there.

But...only on little, teeny, tiny people. :+

a girl I was making out with told me my ears were dirty. I was so embarrassed that I became a habitual Q-Tipper.

11. Well, I'm not that far gone, but I do use them daily.
I also once made my stepbrother almost start crying due to Q-tips. I stuck one through my earlobe and walked into his room saying, "it's stuck, you've gotta help me." He freaked out, then walked up me, right before he grabbed it, he started tearing up. I pulled it out and said, "Merry Christmas!"

Yep, that was my Christmas morning greeting to my stepbrother last year. I'm evil, but he's a total wimp.

You have to stop. You will impact the wax in your ears. It will hurt when it finally comes out. Stop, now. Go to an ENT and clean them good once. Then never again.

20. I buy copious amounts at my local warehouse club store
I once found myself without them in a foreign country. Try finding Q-Tip in those little translation books. I freaked.

But I'm much more addicted to dental floss. That's a major problem for me. At any given time, I have about 6 or 7 thingies of floss going -- office, purses, car, gym locker, etc.

21. I'm addicted to those pre-flossed plastic sticks thingies
I don't even use the handle that comes with them - I can floss my teeth and when I'm done I can use the pick end to stimulate the gums.

I must do it 3-4 times a day

32. I use them at least once a day...
sometimes twice, if my ears are extra gross.

I know that I am not supposed to dig around in there with a swab, but I have terrible allergies and sometimes my ears just itch like crazy -- a cottom swab does the trick (I call the resulting delicious feeling "eargasms"). And my ears really do get dirty a lot -- there isn't a time when I swab that it doesn't come out with crud on it.

Just reading this thread has made me want to get a Q-Tip fix!!!

after I take a shower. And, like another poster, when my ear feels itchy.

Oh, and one of my cats LOOOOOVES to play with Q-tips (clean ones, of course).
